I am an embroiderer and teacher based in West Sussex. Having completed my apprenticeship at the Royal School of Needlework in 2004, I stayed on in the commercial studio and also as a tutor for the Certificate, diploma and degree courses. Working in the studio I had the opportunity to work on many exciting commissions including the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress and veil and designing a mobile based on british birds for Prince George on the occasion of his birth.

I now teach at home and around the country and enjoy sharing my knowledge and love of hand embroidery with others. In 2019 my book, ‘Applique Embroidery’, was published.
I particularly love working traditional methods, such as Crewelwork and long & Short stitch with applied fabrics and metalwork to create fresh designs and new pieces of work.
